Martha Karimian
Process Engineer

Martha was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the United States to pursue her college education.
​
Martha is a Process Engineer for Lighthouse Healthcare Advisors. Her areas of focus include Process Improvement projects, where she observes workflows, creates process maps and conducts time studies; and Operational Assessments. She has particular expertise in EMR optimizations and credentialing.
​
She is an active member of MGMA and invited speaker on MACRA and other health policies.
She worked for clothing manufacturers, Joseph A. Bank Clothiers and London Fog, establishing incentive programs to improve productivity, developing new methods to effectively integrate new products into existing production and improve processes. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University in Industrial and Systems Engineering, with a concentration in work measurement, statistical analysis and productivity improvement.

Martha lives in Timonium, Maryland with her husband and their children. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising at the gym and being an active member of her church.
